Toughened Glass (Tempered Glass):
Toughened Glass, also known as Tempered Glass, is a leading product we manufacture and supply. Known for its superior scratch resistance, this glass is widely used in the automotive industry, particularly for buses and three-wheelers. Produced in sizes ranging from 3.5 mm to 19 mm thick, and up to 2440 x 3660 mm in size, this glass undergoes a heat treatment process at approximately 650°C followed by rapid air quenching. This process enhances its mechanical strength, making it three to five times stronger than ordinary glass. When shattered, it breaks into small, harmless particles, making it a recognized safety glass. Available in both flat and curved forms, it comes in various colors such as Clear, Green, Bronze, and Dark Gray.
Applications of Toughened Glass (Tempered Glass)
Side glass for buses and trucks
Display glass for buses, earth movers, and trucks
Door glass for earth movers
Glass for driver’s cabins
Laminated Glass:
Laminated Glass features a layer of Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB) sandwiched between two layers of glass, making it a type of safety glass that stays intact when shattered. This design prevents large, sharp pieces from forming upon impact, significantly reducing the risk of injury. Laminated glass is widely used in automotive windshields, domes, glass ceilings, and glass doors. It is available in various colors like Clear and Green. In India, the use of laminated safety glass in automobiles has been mandated by the government to enhance safety.

DGU Glass (Double Glazing Unit):
Also known as Insulated Glazing, DGU Glass consists of two or three layers of glass sealed together with an air or gas-filled space between them. This design acts as an insulating barrier, improving the energy efficiency of windows by reducing heat transfer. DGU Glass is commonly used in windows to provide light and a view while enhancing thermal insulation.
automotive Safety Glass:
Automotive Safety Glass is designed to shatter into pebble-sized pieces upon impact, significantly reducing the risk of injury. Unlike regular glass, which breaks into sharp shards, safety glass crumbles into less dangerous fragments that are far less likely to cause harm. This makes it an essential component in vehicles, particularly in situations where safety is a priority.
